(slang) An insignificant person; one who fails to make a mark.
(athletics) A score in athletics having after having not set a valid ground marking in a distance measurement. A score of 0 metres, resulting from faulting/fouling out of competition.
(athletics) To fail to record a valid score, and produce a score of 0 or no-mark (no distance), by failing to make a valid ground mark from an attempt, and fouling/faulting out of competition.
